You have something to say that matters to your potential clients!
Do you ever feel like there are so many great smart high liked and listened to people in your industry that what you have to say is not going to be important and listened to?
I know I sure have. But you know what? ….Don’t worry…because you have different markets! Different circle of FB and Twitter peeps, etc. So their market is not YOUR market. Make sense?
There are so many great things about this because:
- You know who your market and ideal client are
- You understand your value in relation to what your market and ideal client values are.
- You can offer your price for profit so that you can provide great quality and customer experience.
How does this translate in showing up in your business? Ask yourself questions like these for example:
- What can you do (or continue to do) in your business to give your clients and prospective clients a great experience dealing with you and your company?
- How does your pride in your work and service show up for your clients?
- Do you see the correlation between pricing well and being able to take great care of clients?
- Are you pricing at a level that allows you do great work, focus on ideal clients and give them a great experience?
- How well do you understand who your market and ideal clients are? Who do you WANT to be your clients?
What are you thoughts around this? What feels good to you and makes you feel good that you are bringing to your clients?

I try to not compare myself to others. However it is hard to become frustrated when you see others succeeding in the same field. I love the content that I provide and that is all that matters. I try to market on all social media platforms to reach everyone.

Since my clients are my blog audience, this will apply just a little bit differently. This year I’ve started worrying less about what EVERYONE thinks and more about what MY audience thinks. I’ve realized what is important and turns out, it’s my loyal following. I’ve decided to narrow my niche down quite a bit so that I can continue to grow a certain audience instead of one that’s so broad.
Annette says
You are so totally right! Thank you greatly for saying this!

This should be a reminder to us all, we all have different target audiences even if we’re in the same industry and that’s what makes us unique in a way. I think it’s awesome and empowering to think like this.
Annette says
Empowering is a great word for this, thank you! We all have our unique stories to share.

I think everyone must feel this way from time to time, as if they don’t have anything special enough or unique enough to offer. But I like how you pointed out that because we are all so individual, we all have something individual to offer – we only need to find out what it is.
Annette says
Sometimes it takes abit to find that out for sure. We all may have the same obstacles but we each have a unique footprint in how we teach and learn. I am learning more and more to go where my passion is. That I can write and talk about freely and full of energy. I follow alot of people in my social networks in different industries from all walks of life and learn from each of them. Thank you for your comment.

I’m a blogger and work with agencies and companies for sponsorships and cash payments.
I feel that the way we communicate with our clients is very important – treating them with respect, sincerity and showing that we value their business and what they have to gain from the collaborations.
Thanks for this thought-provoking post!
Annette says
You are welcome and thank you! You are so right, how we communicate and treat them is so crucial.

It’s nice to hear that their may be similarities between me and others but we are also different so we will have different followers. We offer different topics of interest and the people follow who they are interested in. I can only hope to keep offering something of interest to my people!
Annette says
You will! Talk from the heart and your passion. I find that not everyone reads the bigger bloggers and speakers in our industries so we will have our loyal followers. Thank you for your comment.
Gina says
I love the questions you pose. I am preparing to launch my business and have struggled to dial in the prices.
Annette says
That is wonderful Gina! You website looks so yummy! I have bookmarked it! The services you offer are wonderful. I can help you brainstorm on this if you like on prices. Look at others in your industry and pare down that cost down some for those in your following as you grow. Most important is to believe in you and that what you have to offer is priceless to others. We each have our own experience we bring with this. Thank you for your comment.
Chris says
You bring up a great point that charging more allows you the freedom to focus more on your customers, because you (likely) have fewer and because the ones you have are willingly paying a premium in order to get premium service.
Great advice!
Annette says
I learned this the hard way. lol. But it does. I have to admit it is hard to do so at 1st but having faith that your knowledge is and can be so important to others, helps that process along alot. Thanks for your comment!
