You can learn anything you want to on a YouTube video for sure, right? I recently learned how to make hooded droopy eyes how not to be…. with the right eye shadow tricks. (by SugarPuffAndFluff). It is way cool! Have you created a video yet? Here is a thought…how about doing your own teaching or tips video?
Here are 4 very helpful simple tips to get you started! (and yes I am just a newbie also)!
- Videos should be short, sweet, and to the point. YouTube viewers are generally watching more than one video at a time..(it’s true..lol) so keep your video to about 5 minutes to keep all that attention span with you!
- Engage and have fun! Get your peoples drawn in by doing fun crazy things that teach! One such person I follow is #sherribrowncoaching. She is so full of engaging tips its a joy to follow her! She asks lots questions, loves for us to comment, and does her best to engage with all of us when she is live! Capturing our audiences attention is vital and Sherri does that very well indeed!
- Have you used a script? Try it! It’s pretty simple to do so. Kinda like a teleprompter that your favorite TV personality uses… but much more simple. Just write it in a document and have it up on your screen while doing the video! See–that was simple right? I bet you have other ideas now right?
- Just do it! Yes I know its not really a tip tip….but then again it is. Use your cell phone right now and just do it! How did it feel? Scary but fun, right? Just keep doing it and pretty soon you will be a pro! And hey..share it with us here 🙂 🙂
